One thing leads to another, and...

My Irish Hearts Series started with Embraceable You, a story with an irresponsible mother and an ultra responsible daughter. Sienna goes to a small Maine town and meets Claire, an Irish woman. Just as I was wondering how Claire got to Maine from Ireland, she proceeds to tell her story.
One thing leads to another and… Claire's story steps back in time to Ireland, when her dying father decides to arrange a marriage in order to save his darling daughter. She is definitely not pleased with that! So Claire's Embrace becomes Book 1 in the series.
Embraceable You is now Book 2. It develops into a story about women helping other women, one of my favorite themes.
For Book 3 Brianna, Claire's youngest daughter, goes to Ireland and falls for two brothers in Secret Embrace. Very risky business! (This one has a new cover and formatting for easier reading.)
Not to be outdone, Claire's oldest daughter, Danika, tells her unique time-travel story set in Mystique, a not-so-typical small New England town. One thing leads to another and… she falls head over heels for a British soldier from the Revolutionary War. More complications! And so Mystique becomes Book 4 in the Irish Hearts Series.
One thing leads to another and… Danika insists on her own happy ending so, Embracing Mystique is in the works. Most unsettling to the locals is that this sweet little town has ties to Revolutionary times in America. So we'll just have to wait and see what our headstrong characters do with these circumstances.
No one ever said that writing a series is easy or that this is the way to do it - from historical to arranged marriage to contemporary to time-travel to - what next! That's a little bit for just about everyone. But you've probably heard writers say, "I just follow my characters and let them tell their stories." Well, this is what sometimes happens. Disorganization. Competition. And mayhem. But always, happily in the end.

Hope you enjoy my unruly Irish Hearts Series, which are on sale now for .99 each.  Just click on the cover below to purchase and please remember to leave a review.
Happy Summer reading,
Mary Tate
